From Napkin to Launch: Central Washington Curbing Gets Its Brand

 

Some projects have a great story behind them. Central Washington Curbing is one of those.

Back in 2021, Jason Phinny — owner of Central Washington Curbing LLC and a guy I’ve spent more than a few mornings fishing with — sat down with me to talk about his business. He had over 20 years of experience shaping concrete curbing for Yakima Valley homeowners and landscapers. What he didn’t have was a web presence that matched the quality of his work. We registered the domain, designed the logo, and laid the groundwork for a brand.

Then life happened. It does that.

Fast forward to early 2026. Jason just returned from Pensacola, Florida, where he connected with concrete curbing professionals from across the country — exchanging techniques, design ideas, and trade knowledge. He came back fired up and ready to launch.
